Is BYD’s Import-Only Strategy Driving Buyers Away?

Avatar
Rishab V

With India-China relations strained, BYD is unable to set up a local plant, relying solely on imports. This has led to concerns among buyers about potential difficulties in servicing and sourcing parts, raising doubts about the long-term feasibility of owning a BYD car. The fear of halted sales or expensive maintenance is making some question if the depreciation and hassles outweigh the benefits. Is the uncertainty around BYD’s future in India causing buyers to hesitate? Share your thoughts!

Hope they will figure it out soon. The owners seem to be pretty happy with the vehicles. So they eventually got to win.
